The Temple of Prismos

In the Great Wax Sea of the planet Encaustic lies the Temple of Prismos, an island-ziggurat rising from the waves. It is said that the temple’s master, the Prismatic Oracle, learned the secret of the Chrysopoeia, giving them the ability to cast their sight to any event that was and all futures that might yet come to pass. 

You are pilgrims seeking the Temple’s prophetic wisdom. Through visions, dreams, or the fragmented text of a prismatic apocrypha, you have glimpsed a shard of the past or future that has ignited a fire within you, a quest for knowledge that inevitably leads you to Prismos. 

Over the course of playing The Temple of Prismos, the players gather found text, images, and objects and interpret them as omens of a prophecy, creating a mystical apocryphon through junk journaling. The Temple of Prismos is designed for GM-less play with 1-3 players and can be completed in one 2-3 hour play session.
